The Einbock Company, a renowned name in agricultural machinery, traces its origins back to 1934 when it was established by Leopold Einbock as a blacksmith shop.
Initially specialising in horseshoeing and the fabrication of farm vehicles, the company soon established a reputation for quality craftsmanship.
The mid-1950s marked a pivotal shift as Einbock began producing dedicated farm machinery, setting the foundation for decades of innovation and growth in the agricultural sector.
Located approximately 40 miles west of Linz, the modern Einbock factory has undergone significant investment in recent years.
The facility now boasts advanced machine tools and cutting-edge technology, including a large laser cutter and robotic welding systems.
In addition to these technological enhancements, the factory expanded its premises with the construction of a new 75,000m² building, completed in 2023 and officially inaugurated in 2024.
The extensions also feature a comprehensive showroom, training facilities capable of accommodating up to 60 guests, and modern office spaces for 25 employees. By 2023, the company’s workforce had grown to over 200 staff, reflecting its ongoing commitment to both innovation and people.
In 2024, Einbock saw a generational transition in its leadership. The company passed from the third generation—Leopold Einbock Snr and Birgitte Einbock—to the fourth generation: Michael Einbock (Technical Manager), Leopold Einbock Jnr (Commercial Manager), and Theresa Zobl (Financial Manager). This continuity ensures that Einbocks core values and dedication to excellence remain at the forefront of its operations.
The company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation has not gone unnoticed. Einbock was awarded the gold medal in the German ‘Sustainability’ awards within the agricultural technology category. Further, in 2025, while exhibiting at the Agritechnica show, Einbock achieved the silver medal in the ‘Innovation Awards’ for their pioneering Smart-Hill system.
