About Badalini

Badalini, founded in 1930 by Gerolamo Badalini, a farmer and mechanic with a passion for agricultural innovation, has formed a legacy in the agricultural machinery industry. Initially focused on mechanical repairs for local farmers in Italy, the company rapidly evolved under Gerolamo’s vision to address the growing needs of modern agriculture.

In 1949, Franco Badalini, Gerolamo’s youngest son, joined the family business. His pioneering spirit led to the development of groundbreaking equipment, notably the subsoiler and tine cultivator. Franco’s inventions, which revolutionised soil management techniques, were patented and gained worldwide recognition for their efficiency and durability.

These innovations positioned Badalini as a forerunner in organic weeding machinery. Today, the Badalini product portfolio includes multi-row rototillers designed for efficient soil preparation, robust subsoilers that enhance soil structure and drainage, precision-engineered inter-row cultivators for effective weed control between crop rows, and durable disc harrows for soil tillage.

For over 20 years, Terrington has served as a trusted importer of Badalini products in England, focusing primarily on inter-row rototillers tailored for organic vegetable growers.

This longstanding partnership has facilitated the widespread adoption of Badalini’s advanced machinery among English farmers, enhancing productivity and supporting sustainable agricultural practices across the country.
